Our journey began beneath a simple metal roof and makeshift poles, where passionate individuals gathered to provide basic education to the children of our community. With limited resources but boundless determination, we embarked on a mission to ignite the flame of learning in the hearts of our young ones.

As time passed and our commitment deepened, we witnessed the fruits of our labor blossom. Through the collective efforts of dedicated volunteers and the unwavering support of our community, we were able to construct a proper school building. With this new foundation, LA GALERA became a beacon of hope, welcoming over 60 eager students and three devoted teachers.

But our journey didn't stop there. Driven by our belief in the transformative power of education, we expanded our efforts to encompass more than just academic instruction. Volunteers rallied together to ensure that every child received a nutritious meal, nurturing both body and mind.

Today, LA GALERA stands proudly as a legally recognized institution, a testament to the guiding hand of God and the tireless dedication of all involved. We are honored to operate as a Non-Governmental Organization, driven not by profit but by the shared belief that every child deserves access to quality education.
